Most common tasks include: – Serving as the first contact for patients in a busy orthopaedic practice with scheduling, checking-in, or answering general questions about the practice and the physicians – Confirm, collect, and verify demographic and insurance information – Collect copays and payments on accounts and make sure cash balances each night.
